See how this 320-ton brick two story escaped the
wrecking ball. Located in Carmel Indiana just west of US 31, this 70+ year old home was
relocated to make way for a shopping center. It was moved approximately ¼ mile and is
used today for an office building.
The house is approximately 103' long and 34' wide. The
roof is slate and some of the floors are concrete slabs. The house was on a partial
basement and was moved over a full basement.
